Mostnica Gorge: Stop at Koča na Vojah or Continue into Voje
Choose the gorge return from Stara Fužina or a longer walk through Voje, with the hut as the decision point and the waterfall beyond it.
For the gorge itself, walk from Stara Fužina to Koča na Vojah and return through the gorge. Continue into Voje only if you want a longer valley day. The hut is the useful dividing point: by then you have seen the narrow limestone channel, while the open valley and its final waterfall are still ahead.
Water has carved rounded pools and rock openings into the Mostnica. The formation called Little Elephant is an arch between water-worn hollows. These close views are the point of the shorter outing; you do not need to reach the waterfall at the head of Voje to have visited the gorge.
Use one village start
Begin in the center of Stara Fužina and follow the marked approach past Zois Manor toward Devil's Bridge. Tourism Bohinj lists this approach among its official starts. Use its Mostnica visitor guide and the on-site signs to follow the gorge to the short climb at Koča na Vojah.
The operator confirms paths on both sides of the gorge, allowing a return on the opposite bank. At entry, identify the open return path and the crossing to use; keep that route with you. Return to the village start rather than assuming every sign for Voje leads back through the paid gorge.
Make the extension a separate decision

The tourism office gives about 2½ hours one way for the tour to the end of Voje. Do not read that as the complete gorge-and-waterfall round trip. Keep refreshments optional unless the hut's operation is confirmed for your date.
A walking path beside a deep channel
The official guide calls for caution at gorge edges in damp conditions and does not recommend an independent gorge walk in snow. Dogs must be on a lead, and cycling is prohibited on the gorge trail between Devil's Bridge and the Voje hut. The road into Voje is a separate approach; it skips the gorge.
Arrange arrival in Stara Fužina and return from the same village. Drivers must use marked parking; for buses, select the actual village service through Bohinj's mobility information rather than adding an unverified transfer. If the longer outing is tempting, use the turnaround-time guide to keep the return in the day before continuing past the hut.
