One Good Place / Project notes

Editorial approach & responsibility

Know who publishes the guide, what supports it and where to ask for a correction.

Publisher and responsibility

One Good Place publishes this free personal travel project. Questions about a guide, its sources or its accessibility go to dpustovalov.work@gmail.com. The publisher reviews reported issues and decides what changes to make.

How a guide is made

We start with published source material, separate supported claims from open questions, then build practical examples and explanations. Drafting and illustration may use AI assistance. Source review, editing and technical checks are separate tasks; an AI answer or image is not evidence of a place.

Evidence and freshness are different

Researched describes the origin of a guide. It does not mean locally confirmed or personally traveled. A source review date records an editorial check. A recheck deadline tells you when another check is needed. Unknown conditions stay unknown rather than becoming zero or a promise of access.

Numbers and examples

Metric units come first, with rounded imperial equivalents. Synthetic examples are labeled and are not route measurements. Drive moving time, walking time and stops stay separate. A partial day is not presented as a complete total.

Corrections and updates

Send the page URL, the issue and a supporting source through Contact & corrections. The contact tool prepares an email or a local draft; it does not submit a report to a database. A source check or technical test does not establish owner, traveler or field acceptance.

Each guide records its publication, modification and review dates. A fresh date is not a guarantee that local conditions will stay the same. Read the article’s source panel and the source register for scope and recheck conditions.

Recent editorial updates

  • : expanded the Sintra entrance comparison into two sourced day options, linked rail and luggage decisions, and clarified the limits of regional climate and trail examples.
  • : added explicit local saving for worksheet notes and a chosen day. The planning instructions now distinguish current edits, the last saved version and an export.

These are editorial and product changes, not reports from a traveler or a claim that local conditions were checked in person.

Photography & image credits

Photographs and generated scenes support the visual story. They do not confirm route access, availability or personal travel. Photographs have credited sources; generated scenes are labeled separately.
